Cardiff S3 Week 1 Big Scores and Big Losses

Week one of season 3 in Cardiff did not disappoint we had some fantastic games and most importantly everyone started off with some strong weight losses too!!!

The first match of the evening was the Ballotellitubbies vs FC Largentina the on pitch score was 6-3 in favour of FC largentina with the weight scores giving a final score of 12-7 to FC Largentina

Balotellitubbies man of the match was Mouldi

FC Largentina man of the match was Gareth

Balotellitubbies Man of the week was: Andy

FC Largentina Man of the week was: Dody

Our second Game of the evening was the Red Chubbernauts Vs Bourissia Dortmunch

The on pitch score was 8-0 in favour of the reds with a final score of 10-6 to the reds which shows how much a team can get back into it with weight loss goals.

Reds man of the match was Jamie
Yellows man of the match was Ben
Reds man of the week is Shamy
Yellows man of the week is Chris

This weeks third game was FC Fatarsealona V Auberlean

The on pitch score was 4-1 in favour of Auberlean with a final score of 11-3 to Auberlean

The white man of the match was Mike
Purple man of the match was James
Whites man of the week was Leighton
Purple man of the week was Jamie

Our final game of the week was Unathletico Bilblue V Citrus Elba FC the on pitch score was 13-3 with a 4 goal haul for Martyn Williams the final score was 16- 6 which puts Citrus to the dizzying heights of 1st place in the league!!!

Blues man of the match was the whole team even though they were on the wrong end of the score they didn’t give up and kept fighting until the final whistle and considering it was their first game together they have a lot to be proud of!!!

Orange man of the match was Chris

Blues man of the week was a split between Sam and mike.

Orange man of the week was Nick for his pure dedication to the team and the programme continuing to weigh in and contribute even though he has suffered a serious injury.

We are off to a strong start and things are looking exciting for this season!!! We can expect some great games and some fantastic weight loss all around and I for one cannot wait to see how the next 13 weeks unfold.

Great write up, just need to find a ref that can count above four when reffing the purples! At least he got it correct that we won.

Moving forward though, I can appreciate that reffing can be difficult at times. Would it be easier for him to keep scores if we “kicked off” after each goal, rather than just playing out from the keeper? Would give him the time to tally the goals and state if a goal has been disallowed.
