Do you know what I've actually struggled more the last few days. Just a few thoughts about having a beer and relaxing with a drink.
I don't know exactly what's changed but there are three possibles:
- There are some big events coming up which if I'm honest it would be nice to have a beer with. Our local fete, my son's birthday (we're going on a survival camping event with a couple of his mates whose dads are also my mates, so it'll be a campfire and beer situation) and a music festival.
- Life has been a bit busier and probably a bit more stressful - again, that usually sees me having a beer to reset.
- I've lost a fair bit of weight now and I'm starting to feel more comfortable in my body, therefore there's none of this "I need to stay off the beer to feel comfortable in my own skin"
I really want to focus on hitting my target of not drinking but I'm not going to lie - I feel challenged!
