Interesting that beer is associated with ‘survival camping’. Do you have to hunt it down and trap it first.
I’ve stayed away from this thread as I rarely drink. Looking at your reasons for wanting to have a drink they fall into three neat categories.
- Survival camping - I think you’re saying here that you want to drink to be more sociable and it will enhance your enjoyment.
- Busy life - So you want a drink to help you cope.
- I don’t need to loose any more weight.
Can’t offer you much advice but as far as No: 2 goes I’d be wary. If you need just one beer to reset then there’s probably something else you can do instead of drink that will push the rest button. Exercises, etc. If its more than 1 beer than that’s all the more reason not to do it.
With regards to no: 3 congratulations, but its worth reminding you that you gave up the drink for other health reasons not just weight issues.
