Inspired by the awesome effort of @Andy_Gallon and @Hollywood and their 3 Peaks Domination and the general happy feeling of completing a challenge I’ll add my 2 pence worth after a cracking event over the weekend.
Saturday night / Sunday morning saw a few of us jumping on the train up to London with the bikes to join the Help for Heroes Dawn Raid South ride from Horse Guards Parade down to the D-Day Museum in Portsmouth - a 100 mile route taking in Box Hill, Aldershot Military Museum, and a quick sprint down the runway at RAF Odiham raising money for a great cause.
Starting at Horse Guards at 02:30hrs and setting off for box hill before dawn…
sneaky bit of flapjack after the climb to the top of Box Hill…
Formation flying down the runway at RAF Odiham!
Time for a quick picture in front of the Chinook…
More tea and flapjack at 75 miles in…
Final stats for the day!
A long tough ride, but happily completed with great camaraderie from all those taking part.

Total Distance - 105.26 miles
