If you do a PARK RUN , please read

Got a new PB of 47:06 at Woodhouse Moor parkrun on Saturday, which was my 12th time doing it. 1st one in June was 54:10, by comparison.

I ran the whole course for the first time a few weeks ago but can currently get faster times by walk/running. Never thought I’d voluntarily turn up to do these on a regular basis, it’s a huge park of my Saturday routine nowadays.

Would like to think I can crack 45 minutes soon, and would love to get something with a 3 at the front of it in early 2019.

Well done mate. Great reduction in 5 months.
Keep going and you will smash a 30 seconder before long
I love the park runs. Brilliant event

That’s great. I’ve just done my 100th, which is amazing.

More amazing still is the progress I’ve seen people make who started at the same time as me. People who we’re running 50 minutes + are running sub-35.

It’s great chatting with people who are not only making progress but really enjoying something that they never thought they’d be able to do (me included).

Started 2019 with a bang by doing the New Year’s Day double at Woodhouse Moor and Armley parkruns.

Got a new PB of 46:56 at Woodhouse Moor and then a more leisurely time of 53:34 at Armley alongside someone nursing an achilles injury. Would have been happy enough to get 10k through the legs for the first time, but the PB was a bonus.

Who’s out tomorrow?

Doing Richmond Park tomorrow. First time there.
