Lifting weights to lose weight?



Just looking from some guidance from fellow members. I’ve recently lost over a stone as i’ve been in training for a half marathon. I completed the half marathon two weeks ago and have gone back to weight training as I’ve been advised a better way to lose weight is to lift weights?

Is this true? I’ve found that I’m not losing as much but my clothes are looser despite what the scales are telling me?

Muscle burns energy - the more muscle you have the more energy you burn. With a balanced diet the muscles you build will burn stored energy (fat.)

You might not lose weight but you will lose fat.
