So here we are at the end of a tough season. The summer is always a harder league with holidays and treats with the kids high up on peoples lists quite often good habits and lifestyle changes go out the window. With that being said the stats still show what an impressive season its actually been and just how hard everyone has worked. So the news in numbers is as follows.

League Title - Congratulations to Fatzio who managed to retain their league title. It came down to the wire being Chase all the way by The All Blacks. In the end a draw on the Final day was enough to see them clinch the title by 1 point. (new picture to follow)
Cup winners - This season saw the introduction of the weight loss cup. Results for this were decided solely in the weigh in room with the 2 teams losing the least amount of weight (%) each week going out until 1 team was left standing. Congratulations to Sex, Drugs and Sausage Rolls who managed to secure the cup with great team losses every week of the competition. They also managed to finish top of the Scales League.
Biggest Losers - Each season I like to acknowledge the team that have managed to lose the most weight. This is often a sign of a team that supports each other well, is active in the WhatsApp and put the work in to do their bit for the team. Congratulations to Over The Hill with a very impressive 2nd season loss of 63.3kg. Also a massive well done to Alan Morrell who finished the season as the biggest loser with a whopping 15.34% of his starting weight being shed. Even with holidays his focus has continued and he has pushed on all the way to the end.
Top Weight loss Goalscorer goes to Jon Houlton who racked up the weight loss goals for his team Sex, Drugs and Sausage Rolls this season.
Its been a pleasure again this season and another that I’ve really enjoyed coaching. I look forward to hopefully seeing as many of you as possible next season where I know we will smash it again. We know have friendlies next week with season 3 registration on 12th September. If anyone has friends, family or colleagues that they think would fit in well and make the most of the opportunity then be sure to get them signed up quickly so they can be in before the season starts.
