Tomorrow sees new season registration. New team names, new colours all adding to new energised focus after the Christmas hump season which comes with its own pressures and challenges.
Welcome to any new players or returners joining us.
Yesterday we had an 11s game where the league was represented which was a good fitness work out.
Toulouse’s Craig and Sean shared the goalkeeping duties and both made some great saves and deliveries.
Amo, Dan, Stu and Martin shared the full back positions with Simon and Dave controlling from centre back.
Great energy across midfield led by captain and maintenance bmi player Nathan b alongside Nathan Hand Stephen S proving mix of running, control and pressure across the centre third.
Up top we had Rob C, Phil and Nathan T
A 5-3 defeat with Nathan T, Rob and Si on scoresheet for us with the opposition including 3 of our league players. More games like this soon to test our fitness, burn some calories.
Stoke away on 15th feb if interested.
On to the new season …
Pairs cup will he generated shortly I will let your captains know the pairs following tomorrow’s weigh ins
Discussion topic within teams is … what works for you? A plan, a strict plan with a cheat day? Calorie counting using an app? breakfast/ no breakfast? Increase exercise routine with specific exercise e.g swimming, run, gym.
Discussing this within your team will help yourself and your team as maybe one of a number of variables in your life has changed and you need to adjust your approach maybe new job, new hours, new child. Maybe an injury hampering exercise which means you need to adjust your approach with food. All these things can come out of conversation with team mates or equally with myself we can have 10 min chat tomorrow after registration always available to chat.
Good luck all. Let’s lose together and win together
