Week 1 – And we’re off! It was great to see so many of you arriving early and eager. Lets keep those warm-ups happening, not just for injury prevention, but also because they’ll help you perform on the pitch.
Once we factored in the off-pitch scores, the overall results from week 1:
Fatburn Rovers (Blue) vs Yellow Belly (Yellow) 2 - 6
Polar Bears (White) vs Black Puddings (Black) 6 - 3
Green Machine (Green) vs O.B. City (Red) 4 - 10
You can see match results anytime at www.manvfatsoccer.com.au/uwa, and if you click on ‘Latest Results’(the tab on the right of the results box) and hover your mouse over the scores (e.g., 4–2),you’ll be able to see a break down of where the score came from. Some great competition on the scales and the pitch in week 1.
The number that really matters this week…It’s natural that we all want to win, but no matter the result, everyone deserves a huge amount of credit for the way you jumped into week 1. We honestly couldn’t have asked for any more–so many of you came with loads of great info in your handbooks. Keep up with the food entries in your handbooks.
Lets keep it simple and focus on portion control and sticking to whole foods.
