Week 5 match previews

Match 1… cholesterol palace v real madras

The first match see two of the joint league leaders go head to head and palace will be looking for the impressive Steve Mann to continue his form on and off the pitch and also have Darren Rodgers and Josh Smith looking towards their 10% loss.

Madras will be looking to Mark Holdaway to reach the magical 10% mark and on the pitch will look to get Michael lace into shooting positions and supply the free scoring Rob Evans. Madras are usually solid at the back with the help of the dependable Chris Smith.

Sepps prediction…palace 2 madras 2 with palace to edge it on weight

match 2…game of stones v Bayern munchies

match 2 sees last years cup winners game of stones play manvfat originals Bayern munchies.

Munchies are always hard to beat with the towering Jeff Scrivener and experienced tom kienzley always putting in a good performance. George Keeble is the danger man up front and Kieran Standley will punish if given a dead ball situation.

Game of stones are last seasons success story, after a difficult start they bonded well and led by the excellent Goodchild brothers they are formidable opposition. Miles row gets better each week and with the speed of Reece Orton and skills of new signing Monty freeman are a good all-round team.

Sepps prediction…Game of stones 4 Bayern munchies 1 . game of stones to edge it on weight

match 3…Aston grilla v Fatburn Rovers

Grilla came very close to winning the title last season and will be looking to go one better following the signing of the superb Dean Smy… Driven by evergreen Paul Bailey and with goal machine Matthew warren up top they will be hard to beat. KieranMmargetson will be looking to add to his goal tally after an excellent strike against ob city last time out and gags singh will be looking to run the midfield.

When fatburn field there strongest side they can be unstoppable and have been champions twice before. Tosh gamblin has the most lethal left foot in manvfat and Chris wood always puts in a good shift. New signing Ben Maguire might get the chance to show what he can do and the skilful dan brand and great defender Jon Rawlings will hopefully be available. Fatburn usually struggle on the scales largely due to great success in previous seasons with tosh, Chris wood and Jon rawlings losing colossal amounts of weight.

Sepps prediction… grilla 4 fatburn 2 grilla to reinforce it on the scales

match 4…ob city v kfc Wimbledon

match 4 sees the current champions play the champions elect. KFC have smashed it on the scales and have been this seasons success story with 5 players in the top 10 (well done Paul palombo, barry church, mark ward, darren earrey, paul cryer). On the pitch Dave flewitt looks like a great striker and mark ward also looks a handy player.

Ob city have not had the best start due to poor availability and no great shakes with the weight loss but will not give up the title lightly. New signings Neil reader and Justin Orton look like great additions and the consistent Kevin storey is always likely to score.

Sepps prediction… ob city 2 KFC Wimbledon 3 KFC to reinforce it on the scales,

All of the above is a bit of fun so enjoy the matches on friday and good luck with the weightloss.

Marks tip of the day…drink plenty of water!
